Open Window Sunset — Handmade Color Strip Art Card

Description

Stand at the window and watch the sky change. That is the feeling this handmade art card captures. A custom-designed window frame — precision cut in Silhouette Design Studio with a perspective that draws the eye inward — opens onto a hand-assembled color strip background that reads as a sunset or sunrise over water, depending on the light and the moment you are in. The strips run from deep cobalt blue at the base through teal, seafoam, coral, rose, red, burgundy, mauve, lavender, lilac, and white toward the top — every one cut individually and placed by hand. Soft purple curtains frame the window on either side. Gold trim runs along the floor and ceiling. There is no sentiment. The window says everything. REPLACEABLE MESSAGE INSERT SYSTEM — These cards are made to be sent again! A standard 3.5″ x 5″ index card slides into the interior pocket. The recipient keeps the insert — the card keeps the view wide open. Snail Again. Made in Ypsilanti, Michigan by BKS Cards and Crafts.
